Varsity Girls Volleyball 2013-14

  • by

Walking into the Big League with a team without any seniors, the Lady Guardians’ Volleyball side was always up against the wall this 2013-14 season. However, they proved that team effort counts for more than the strength of individuals. Spearheaded by freshman Michelle Kim’s 114 kills and floor-captain sophomore Hana Ikeda’s 302 assists, they stormed to a fourth place finish in the ACSC Tournament in Thailand before returning home to finish 3rd in the KAIAC Tournament held at YISS. Junior Nicole Palmer also played a vital role in the team’s success, as she finished with a record 46 blocks.
